According to data, India is vulnerable to 30 different types of disasters, which would have long-term repercussions on productivity and macroeconomic performance by affecting the country's economic, social, and human development potential.

Disaster Management

The central authority in charge of disaster management in India is the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). The Prime Minister of India leads the NDMA.

  • Preparedness in the event of a disaster.
