Consumer awareness is a necessity of contemporary days. Since we are encouraged to buy diverse merchandise through broadcast but several of them are not qualitative goods.

In this age of laissez-faire and globalization, the central intention of every producer is to maximize his value. In each and every conceivable way the yielder is attempting to enhance the marketing of their commodities.

It has been recognized very often that a customer does not get the appropriate goods and assistance. He has required a very high value or contaminated or low-quality commodities are sold to him. Hence it is important to make them aware. Following facts analyze the necessity for making consumers aware:

1. To obtain the greatest satisfaction: The salary of every individual is restricted. He aspires to buy most goods and assistance with his salary. He receives full satisfaction only by this restricted arrangement. Therefore it is required that he should get the assets which are aligned competently and he should not be misled in any form.

2. Invulnerability against exploitation:  Yielders and sellers misuse the customers in several ways as under weighting, getting more price than the sale price, marketing duplicate commodities, etc. Big corporations through their communication also lure the consumers. Consumer awareness defends them from the exploitation by farmers and sellers.
