Answer:

Fourth state of matter is plasma. The state consists of super energetic and super excited particles. These particles are in the form of ionised gases. The fluorescent tube and neon sign bulbs consist of plasma. Inside a neon sign bulb there is neon gas and inside a fluorescent tube there is helium gas or some other gas.The gas gets ionised, that is,gets charged when electrical energy flows through it. The plasma glows with a special colour depending on the nature of gas. The sun and the star glow because of the presence of Plasma in them. The plasma is created in stars because of very high temperature.

The fifth state of matter is (BEC)Bose-Einstein 1920, Indian physicist Satyendra Nath Bose had done some calculation for a fifth state of matter. Building on his calculation, Albert Einstein predicted a new state of matter - the Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC). In 2001, Eric A. Cornell, Wolfgang ketterle and Carl E. Woman of USA received the Nobel Prize in physics for achieving “Bose-Einstein condensation”.The BEC is formed by cooling a gas of extremely low density, both one- hundred- thousand the density of normal air, the super low temperature.

Answer:

The 4th and the 5th state of matter are plasma and Bose-Einstein condensates.

Explanation:

  • One of the four basic states of matter is plasma. Ions and/or electrons, which are charged particles, make up a sizeable amount of it.
  • Plasma differs from the other basic states of matter principally given the presence of these charged particles.
  • It is the most prevalent type of ordinary stuff in the universe and is mostly linked to stars like the Sun.
  • A Bose-Einstein condensate is a state of matter that often forms when a gas of bosons with very low densities is chilled to temperatures nearly to absolute zero in condensed matter physics.
  • In these circumstances, a significant portion of bosons occupies the lowest quantum state, at which point macroscopically visible microscopic quantum mechanical phenomena, in particular wavefunction interference, emerge.

Plasma and Bose-Einstein condensate are the 4th and 5th states of matter.
