Take a rubber ball and make a small hole. Through that hole fill the ball until it is full. Now pierce the ball at different places with the help of a sharp needle. Hold the ball in your hand with the thumb closing the opening at the top. Now press the ball. You will notice that water rushes through the needle holes with same speed............ So this activity proves that water exerts pressure in all directions.
