The occupation i.e. working of any and every place depends on the very landform of a particular place.
The occupation of a civilisation that engages itself for survival depends on the landform as that is one of the major and foundational factors of occupation in any place.
As it would decide various factors of ease, availability, propagation, transportation, adaptation.
Example – the landform of Haryana and Punjab supports agriculture and hence occupation of majority of people in agriculture.
Another example is soil of Assam which supports cultivation of tea and hence that as source of an occupation.
