Subject : Adulteration of Milk
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper I want to raise my concern over the sale of synthetic milk in Alapur. Quite recently, the health department took 20 samples of milk from various dairies and reports of 19 indicated that they have been adulterated with urea and other chemicals. These chemicals are very harmful for human beings. Just to earn a few rupees, such unscrupulous people do not care a fig about human lives. Milk is consumed in different forms by almost all human beings from very young infants and toddlers to elderly people. However, by consuming such sort of milk they are at a great risk, particularly young children and old people. The government should act heavily on such people and give them exemplary punishment. Only then, this practice can be checked.

Subject- Regarding the ill effect of synthetic milk
Sir,
The subject that this letter pursues is definitely the burning issue of the day. I went through the news in your newspaper about it. I hope, therefore, that you will be king enough to allow me a column in your widely circulated and popular journal, in which I may express my views on this subject and bring it to the attention of the people and the proper authorities.
Milk that is produced by inorganic means is called "synthetic milk". They cause huge health problems in society and future generations. The content of emulsifying vegetable oil, caustic soda, urea in these milks is dangerous for the lives of many people.
In our society, it is children aged 0-5 who are more susceptible to the ill effects of synthetic milk. Here the use of this milk can hinder the growth process. Mortality due to consumption of synthetic milk is neglected by the concerned authority in India.
So with this column I would like to alert FSSAI to look forward to this serious issue.
The law alone is not enough to stop this until every individual is aware and aware of this situation.
Thanking you
Yours Faithfully,
Promila Chopra
