uniform circular motion is an accelerated motion because the velocity changes due to continuous change in the direction of motion. so even when the body moves to a constant speed its velocity is not constant. thus for the body moving in a circular path at a constant speed its velocity changes continuously.

In uniform circular motion the direction of the object keeps changing that's why the velocity changes every time when the object moves further. And the motion in which the velocity changes continuously is known as accelerated motion.
