Kinetic energy = 1/2*m*v^2
Momentum = mv
Squaring this both sides,
P^2 = m^2 * v^2
Where, p = momentum
Thus,
mv^2 = P^2/m
So, putting this value in kinetic energy formula,
Kinetic Energy = 1/2*P^2 / m
Therefore,
Kinetic Energy = P^2/2m
Momentum = mv
Squaring this both sides,
P^2 = m^2 * v^2
Where, p = momentum
Thus,
mv^2 = P^2/m
So, putting this value in kinetic energy formula,
Kinetic Energy = 1/2*P^2 / m
Therefore,
Kinetic Energy = P^2/2m
