Well what if I say none of the hen or egg came first, we can ask this question as when humans came they were apes , similarly in the same way We can think for hens that they might have come to planet as other animals but have later developed them with time. Bu tuts a fact that hen came first as the egg shell contains some special proteins which can only be made by the hen. So of course hens came first.
