Properties of colloids
1. Heterogenous in nature.
2. Too small to be seen with naked eyes
3. Separated with the help of ultrafilters
4. They are stable
5. These show Brownian Motion.
Properties of Suspension
1. Heterogeneous in nature
2. Can be seen with naked eye but clearly with microscope
3. Size of particle is about 10^-7 m
4. They have tendency to settle down

SUSPENSION
1) It is a heterogeneous mixture.
2) Its particles are bigger than those of solution, therefore they can scatter a beam of light through it.
3) They can be separated through filtration.
COLLOID
1) It is a heterogeneous mixture.
2) Particles are small, but are big enough to scatter a beam of light through it.
3) They cannot be separated by filtration, but can be separated through centrifugation( a process in which the denser particles settle down whereas the lighter ones remain above it)
