Hey there !

Extensive properties, such as mass and volume, depend on the amount of matterbeing measured. Intensive properties, such as density and color, do not depend on the amount of the substance present. Physical properties can be measured without changing a substance's chemical identity.

Dear Student ,

All the matter is consists of a small particles of matter. These particles have some common characteristics. These characteristics are laid down in a theory called 'Kinetic theory of Matter'.

Stated very simply , the kinetic theory of matters states :-

  • All matter comprises of small particles.
  • All matter comprises of small particles.These particles have space in between them.
  • All matter comprises of small particles.These particles have space in between them.The particles are continuously moving.
  • All matter comprises of small particles.These particles have space in between them.The particles are continuously moving.The particles attract eachother.
