Physical Change
Those changes in which chemical properties of compound remain same but physical properties changes in other words we can say that those changes in which only the physical properties of the substances change but no new substances are formed are called physical change
for example: On heating ice (solid) is changes into water (liquid) but both have same chemical formula
ice ---> water

Chemical Change
Those changes in which compound changes its chemical properties and new compounds are formed known as chemical change in other words we can say that those changes in which new substances are formed are called chemical change
for example: Combustion of carbon in presence of oxygen produce carbon dioxide
carbon+oxygen ------> carbon dioxide
