Series:
1. Every component has only one switch i.e. they are closed or opened at the same time.
2. If one point breaks in the series circuit, the total circuit will break.
3. Series circuits are easy to learn and made.
4. Series circuit do not overheat easily.
Parallel:
1. It requires the use of lot of wires.
2. Every unit gets equal amount of voltage.
3. It becomes easy to connect or disconnect a new element without affecting the working of other elements.
4. We cannot increase or multiply the voltage in a parallel circuit.
