Identification Requirements for Like-Kind Replacement Properties Like-kind replacement properties must be clearly and specifically (unambiguously) identified to the Qualified Intermediary using the common property (street) address, and/or the legal description, and/or the Assessor's Parcel Number (APN).

Commutative refers to the common such as 'a+b' and 'b+a' is same.

Associative property states that you can add or multiply regardlessly such as 1+2+4+3 =(1+2)+(2+3)

Distributive property refers to distribute something such as, 5(9+3) = 5×9+5×3
