(1) The particles of a liquid disperse phase are globules (or droplets) which are larger in size than the size of disperse phase particles in sols.
(2) The globules show Brownian motion and Tyndall effect
(3) The globules are often negatively charged and show electrophoresis.
(4) The globules get coagulated on addition of electrolytes containing divalent or trivalent cations.
