• They are found with serrated edges.  

In case of southern willow:

• The simple smooth edged narrow leaves are found greenish in the top surface and whitish is found below the surface.

Environment they grow:

• They grow mostly in the condition like moist, on sand, gravel bars and stream bank.
• They are smooth edged and grows border towards the tips.
