Chartered accountancy has been one of the most popular career choices in India. This profession is not easy to get into but if you manage to do so, it offers a great career path, salary, and respect among people. One of the reasons why people respect chartered accountants is not because of the designation or pay, it is mainly because it is not easy to become one.

Advantages
Respect and dignity also comes with CA degree.
Person feels proud to say he / she is a CA and also their family feels proud about it.
Most important, good salary package person can get after becoming CA.
Also after becoming CA person can be their own boss, i.e., he / she can start their own practice.
There are many career opportunities one can get after getting degree such as if person is interested in teaching then he can open his classes, go for job or can start their own office.
Disadvantages
Generally disadvantages are only when one cannot complete CA course.
If person gets stuck in a CA either at IPCC level or worst is at CA final level, then it's worst to leave course at that time.
Exam comes twice in a year and if anybody wants to do job in a good company then company does not hire CA appearing students.
Luck factor matters in CA exam and therefore inspite of continuous hard work, ‘Fail result’ bring demotivation.
