Prostitution is considered a social problem in the fact that it has lead to the increased spread of HIV and AIDS in the society.

This is due to the fact that prostitutes only value monetary gain rather than their health. So most families have been affected socially since once people get the HIV and AIDS virus they are mostly feel neglected due to stigma in the society.
