A reasonable standard would be “three titration masses within ± 3% of the mean mass”. If using 50-mL burets, increase the volume of the citric acid samples from 5 mL to 10 mL to have roughly the same precision in the results. Transfer about 10 mL of the citric acid solution into a small beaker (100 or 250 mL).
