sin^2Ф + cos^2Ф = 1
sin^2Ф = 1 - cos^2Ф
So,
(1 - cos^2Ф)/sin^2Ф
= sin^2Ф/sin^2Ф [sin^2Ф = 1 - cos^2Ф]
= 1
Hence, proved.
Hope it helps :)
