let theta be x
we know that sin²x +cos²x = 1
so 1-cos²x=sin²x.---------- (1)
so 1-cos²x/sin²x
=by (1) sin²x/sin²x
=1

Answer:

1-cos^2 theta/sin square theta=1

LHS=

= 1-cos^2 theta/sin^2 theta

= 1-(1- sin^2 theta)/sin^2 theta

=1-1+sin^2 theta/ sin^2 theta

=Sin^2 theta/ sin^2 theta

=1= RHS
