Prove 2+2=5
It's very Simple.....!!
Answers
we know that
4-9/2 is (8-9)/2 =-1/2
and 5-9/2 is (10-9)/2 =1/2
as (1/2)²=1/4=(-1/2)²
so (1/2)²=(-1/2)²
5-9/2=4-9/2
5=4
5=2+2
hope it helps
You can make box in LaTeX by giving the command \boxed{}. A huge box can be made by giving \huge\boxed{}. Information to be included in the box is to be given in the braces.
I didn't get the general method for this, so I used another method on my own!!!
⇒ Consider the equality given below.
⇒ Do cross multiplication.
⇒ Take the square roots of both sides.
⇒ Now cancel 3x from both sides, so that,
⇒ Hence proved!!!
Here the contradiction occurred is at that where the square root was taken. As any number has a positive as well as a negative square root, in that equation 3x + 4 = 3x + 5, either LHS is positive and RHS is negative, or LHS is negative and RHS is positive. But I took both as positives.
Actual method after cross multiplication is as follows:
So this is the actual method. When I went through this prob one day, I got that such methods are useful for proving such contradictions.
Based on this, I've posted a 'challenge' question in this app. Please have a look at my question and the brilliant answers for it.

Edit: Also, for such equality, we can find the value of x by a simple method...!!!
