Let root 2 minus 5 Be are rational number .then root 2 minus 5 is equal to a upon B (in which A and B are coprime and b is not equal to zero)

√5=a/b-2

Where a/b-2 is a rational no

And √5 is a irrational nowhich is a fact.

Therefore our assumptions is wrong and 2-√5 is a irrational no
