because p/q is rational if it seems to be 2/1

Let 3+√2 is rational number.
Therefore...3+√2=p/q(where p and q are coprimes)
√2=p/q-3
but √2 is irrational and p,q are coprimes,it is only possible if 3+√2 is irrational.
