first equation:
initial velocity, u = OA = OD ------------ (1)
final velocity, v = OE = BC -------------(2)
then,
BC = DC + BD
v = u + BD
BD = v - u
now ,
Acceleration, a = BD/AD
a = v-u/ t
at = v-u
u +at = v
So,( v = u +at )

second equation:
distance travelled = area of figure OABC
area of rectangle = AOCD
area of triangle = ABD
OA × AD + 1/2 × t × v-u
ut + 1/2t × v-u
s = ut + 1/2t × at
So,( s = ut + 1/2 at2 )

third equation:
distance travelled by trapezium = AOCB
area of trapezium = 1/2(sum of parallel sides)×h
1/2 ( OA + CB ) ×OC
1/2 ( u + v ) × t
t = v - u / a from equation ----- (1)
s = 1/2 (u-v) × v-u / a
s = ( u + v ) ( v - u ) / 2a
s = v2 - u2 / 2a
2as = v2 - u2
2as + u2 = v2
So, ( v2 = u2 + 2as )

I hope you understand by this.
