Kinetic energy is the energy possesed by an object by virtue of its motion.

equation of Kinetic energy is mentioned above..

we know; W=f*s ( by equations of motion we have s=v(2)-u(2)/2a

W= ma* v(2)-u(2)/2a

W= mv(2)-mu(2)/2

therefore W=1/2mv(2) (if u=0)

here work done= kineteick energy

E. K=1/2mv(2)

m is the mass and v is final velocity.
