Cross multiyply the L.H.S. you'll get 2cosx/1 - cos^x (took x instead of theta). Now by trig. identity 1 + cos^2x = sin^2x therfore the equation becomes 2cosx/sin^2x. Then split the term as 2cosx//sinx * 1/sinx. Now by trigonometric identies cosx/sinx = cotx and 1/sinx = cosecx.......Hence, proved........Hope it helps......
