alfarhanasiddique: It’s 100% hypermetropia. You can’t prove myopia is the correct one since it’s clearly wrong! It’s the former because, near distance becomes 50cm, thus the person can’t see if object is placed within 25cm as well. Even many students in my school did the exact mistake.
Vishal2019ranjan: of which set this question belongs?
alfarhanasiddique: I think set 2, since I also got the same question.
Vishal2019ranjan: my set was 3 and i didn't have this question

dmacadrish2: U which school?
dmacadrish2: Many ppl wrote myopia .I want to know why they did! Also I got some message that in A Chand it was myopia
aroraalka7: Many of the students wrote myopia because they didn't see the word "within" which made the whole question either correct or wrong!!!
dmacadrish2: They must have seen
aroraalka7: Oh...then there's no point in writing myopia.... However sometimes the brain is so tensed and stressed during exam time that we often get confused and write the wrong answer even if we know what's right!
alfarhanasiddique: They answered it as myopia ‘cause they thought far point becomes 50cm, instead of near point.
