friend! 1st you must understand that cyclic process is a sequence of events which leaves the system in the same state as in the beginning!
When a system undergoes cyclic process--> Both the initial internal energy (U) & the final internal energy remains the same!
So change in internal energy (ΔU)=0. Apply this in the formula of 1st law of thermodynamics (ΔU=q+W).--> W=q
