The even number 2, is the only even prime number as it has only 2 factors, that are 1 and 2. Whereas all other even numbers have 3 or more than 3 factors, that are, 1, 2 and the number itself.

Eg. 8 has 4 factors - 1, 2, 4, 8
4 has 3 factors 1, 2, 4

Every prime number is not a even number like 3,5,7,11,13... are prime numbers but these are odd.

Only 2 is a even prime number
