Given : (secA + tanA - 1)(secA - tan A + 1)

= > sec^2A - secAtanA + secA + secAtanA - tan^2A + tanA - secA + tanA - 1

= > -1 + sec^2A - tan^2A + 2tanA

We know that sec^2A - tan^2A = 1

= > -1 + 1 + 2tanA

= > 2tanA

Hope this helps!
