Answer:

 \frac{1}{2}

 \frac{2}{4}  =  \frac{1}{2} (by \: reducing \: it \: by \: 2)

 \frac{4}{8}  =  \frac{1}{2} (by \: reducing \: it \: by \: 4)

therefore \:  \:  \frac{1}{2}  =  \frac{2}{4}  =  \frac{4}{8}
