Answer-

here, 1/2=0.5

and, √5=2.236...(it's an irrational number and this is just an approximate value)

so, 0.5+2.236..= 2.736...( the rest of the numbers will stay the same as they won't be affected by this addition)

so, the number will still be non repeating and non terminating indicating that it's irrational.
