howdy!!

your answer is ----

Let, us assume that 1-√7 is rational

so, 1-√7 = a/b where , a and b are integers and b is not equal to zero

=> b-a/b = √7

since , b-a/b is a rational because a and b are integers and b is not equal to zero

so, √7 is also a rational
[ since √7 = b-a/b ]

but this contradict the fact that √7 is irrational

therefore , our assumption is wrong

hence , 1-√7 is irrational .

hope it help you ✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌
