Prove that (1 by 1+√2) + (1 by √2 +√3) + (1 by √3 + √4) is rational.

monanik05: U can't change the sequence as u have done in the denominator that changesthe value

monanik05: As in your last step we will do: -1 will be multiplied to the numerator making 1 -ve and root 4 +ve. Then 1- root 4 i.e. 1-2 and answer is -1

Swastikagarwal: thats y its better to write the denominator with fist greatest and then smallest. this helps to get rid of sign complexity
