1-cosA=2sin²(½A)
1+cosA≈2cos²(½A)
Hence,
LHS=√{sin²(½A)/cos²(½A)}=tan(½A)
RHS=(1/s)-(c/s)≈(1-c)/s=2sin²(½A)/2sin(½A)cos(½A)=sin(½A)cos(½A)
=tan(½A)
∴LHS=RHS
