Answer:

LHS

=1+(1/cos²A)/(sin²A/cos²A)

=1+(1/cos²A) *(cos²A/sin²A)

=1+(1/sin²A)

=1+cosec²A

=cosec²A-cot²A+cosec²A

= -cot²A

So, I can prove that the question is wrong

Hope you understood

Or, even if your question was

(1+sec²A) /tan²A

You would get

-tan²A/tan²A

That is -1 and not +1 as you have mentioned in your question

So, both cases, it is wrong...

so you can tell your teacher that it is wrong.. All the best
