 \frac{1}{(1+x)^{a-b}} \frac{1}{(1+x)^{b-a}}=(1+x)^{-(a-b)}(1+x)^{-(b-a)} \\ =(1+x)^{(b-a)}(1+x)^{-(b-a)}=1
