Given

(1101)2 - (11)10= 2

Since

1101 is in binary form

so in decimal

1101 = 8+4+0+1= 13

Now

LHS

(1101)2 - (11)10

(13)10 - (11)10

2(10)

or

2

Hence LHS = RHS

point to know

We represent binary number

(1101)2

we represent decimal number

(12)10 or 12

(1101)2 - (11)10 = 2

=> binary form 1101 is 13

=> (13)10 - 11(10) = 2

=> 2(10) = 2

binary form of 2(10) is 2
