Let A(2,-2), B=(8, 4), C(5,-7), D(-1,1)
Then, AC and BD become diagonals
Let o be the midpoint of AC and BD
In AC, o=((2+5)/2,(-2+7)/2)
O =(7/2,5/2)
In BD, o=((8-1)/2,(4+1)/2)
O=(7/2,5/2)
As o is same on both, it is a rectangle
Hope it helps!!!
