Prove that 2/✓5 is irrational

Here is ur answer !!!

Let's assume 2/√5 is rational number

The rational numbers are in the form of p/q where p, q are integers

2/√5 = p/q

2q/p =√5

If p, q are integers the 2q/p is rational number

Then √5 is also rational number

But it contradicts the fact that √5 is irrational

So, our assumption is wrong

So, 2/√5 is an irrational number

By the way all numbers which are in form of π or √ are irrational.
So there is √5 in denominator so it is irrational.
