ajitesh1234: √2 -√5 i asked this
ajitesh1234: he answered me 5+√2
ajitesh1234: this
ajitesh1234: as u know that √2 -√5 is already an irrational
as √2 and √5 are redials and irrationals subtract each other we get irrational..... so it is all ready an irrational .....

HEYA MATE

We had given to prove √2-√5 as an irrational no.

we know that √2 is irrational no.

and √5 is also an irrational no.

let us assume that √2-√5 is a rational no.

....

but we know that if we subtract an irrational no. from an irrational no. the resultant will also be irrational but it contradict our assumption that √2-√5 is a rational no.

hence our assumption is wrong and

√2-√5 is an irrational no.

.......

.......

hence proved .

HOPE IT HELPS..
