HI BUDDY

OK THIS IS YOUR ANSWER

LET US ASSUME THAT 2+6^1/2 IS A RATIONAL NUMBER

THEN WE CAN SAY THAT

2+6^1/2=P/Q

=P/Q-2=6^1/2

SINCE P AND Q ARE INTEGERS THE (P/Q-2) IS ALSO RATIONAL.

BUT ROOT 6 IS IRRATIONAL

HENCE THIS CONTRADICTS TO OUR ASSUMPTION

SO WE CONCLUDE THAT 2+6^1/2 IS IRRATIONAL.

HOPE THIS HELPS............STAY SAFE AND HAPPY.......
