We know irrational numbers are non terminating.

So we can say that 22/7 is also irrational.

When we subtract a rational number and an irrational number we get an irrational number.

So on subtraction,we get

3.14159.......-2

=1.14159.....

which is irrational

therefore 22/7-2 is irrational
