Required to prove : Δ^3[(1 – x) (1 – 2x) (1 – 3x)] = – 36

LHS = \frac{d^{3} }{dx^{3}} [ (1-x)(1-2x)(1-3x)]

    = \frac{d^{2} }{dx^{2}} [(-1)(1-2x)(1-3x)+(-2)(1-x)(1-3x)+(-3)(1-x)(1-2x) ]

    = \frac{d^}{dx} [ 12(1-x)+6(1-2x)+4(1-3x)]

    = (-12)+(-12)+(-12)

    = -36

    = RHS
