Let us assume that 3+√15 is rational number

Now,

3+√15 = a/b

hence a and b are co prime numbers

√15 = a/b - 3

√15 = a- 3b/b

Here, a-3b/b is a rational number

But we know that √15 is irrational

So, our assumption was incorrect

3+√15 is an irrational number

Hence,proved
