let √3+2√3=a/b(be a rational no where a, b are co-prime nos)
3√3=a/b
3√3=a/b
√3=a/3b
- its already been prooved that √3 is irrational and a/b are rational so an irrational can never be equal to a rational number
- this contradicts
- hence √3+2√3 is irrational
- prooved :)
