let 3+23=a/b(be a rational no where a, b are co-prime nos)

33=a/b

33=a/b

3=a/3b

  • its already been prooved that 3 is irrational and a/b are rational so an irrational can never be equal to a rational number
  • this contradicts
  • hence 3+23 is irrational
  • prooved :)
