let 3+2✓5is a rational no.

3+2✓5=p/q(q not equal to 0)

2✓5=p/q-2

p-3q/2q=✓5

since p-3q/2q is a rational number

so,✓5 is also a rational no.

but we know that ✓5 is an irrational no.

so, our assumption is wrong

hence proved that 3+2✓5 is an irrational no.
