prove that 3+2 root 5 is irrational

let it be a rational number then 3+2root5=p/q,

3+2q=root5p

3+2/p=root5/q

q is divisible by root 5 but root 5 is a irrational number

this confusion has took place because we have taken it as a rational so it is irrational number
