let 3+√5 is rational

it can be written in the form of a and b

3+√5 =a/b

√5=a/b-5

a-5b=√5

therefore √5 is rational

but our assumption is wrong

√5 is irrational

hence proved

Hence

A/b-3=root 5

And root 5=a-3b

Hence root 5 is a irrational no.

Because we may not be write root 5 in the form of rational no.
